If you're a Premium subscriber you can link external spreadsheets to any project's financials page using ExcelOnline and/or SmartSheet for easy performance tracking, analysis and reporting. Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Enable ExcelOnline or SmartSheet. Open the Financials page in the project that you would like to connect and select the Options menu at the top right of the page.

Step 2: Once the Options screen is open select 'Get Started'

Step 3: Select 'Start Integration' next to either ExcelOnline or SmartSheet. You have the option to integrate and use both at the same time, interchangeably. Click 'Allow' to enable access.

Step 4: Choose which files inside ExcelOnline or SmartSheet that you would like to connect. There is no limit to the number of external spreadsheets you can integrate. When you're done, click 'Finish' to save.

Step 5: Select 'Go to Financials Page' from the menu:

Step 6: Click on the menu icon next to the field that you would like to connect. You can connect as many fields to an external spreadsheet as you like. When you update the spreadsheet and refresh the Financials Page, the new value will be mirrored automatically.

Step 7: Click on 'Select Metric' and then select which spreadsheet you would like to link from the drop down menu. You will see a preview of the spreadsheet once you have selected it. Use the toggle to push or pull the value, you have the option to do either. Click on the field that you want to connect, then select 'Save'. The field will now automatically mirror the value in the spreadsheet (if you've chosen to pull the data).

You can disconnect a field at any time by clicking on the menu icon next to the field and then selecting 'Remove Data Connection':
